Annabelle Series was one of the most successful movies in horror genre and it's the best movie of the conjuring cinematic universe. All 3 parts earned more than 500 million dollars in boxoffice But do you know the doll we saw in the movie actually EXISTS. Today we will learn the true story of this doll.

In 1970, a girl named Donna got a doll from her mother on her 28th birthday. This doll was a classical Ann doll and it looks so adorable. After two-three days, Donna and her roommate Angie experienced some unrealistic things happening in there apartment like whenever they left the doll at a certain place, they found that the doll moved and changed the place. After some days they found a parchment paper near the doll. Inside the paper, there is a message written on it which was like
"HELP ME OR HELP LOU."
Lou was a friend of both the girls who always come around to their place. He didn't like the doll very much and he claimed that he feels some kind of negative energy from the doll and constantly asking them to threw the doll away but girls always ignored him. Donna thought that someone was in the house doing all these things.

One day, Donna found that the doll's hands were fully covered in blood. This incident provoked Donna and Angie and they immediately hired a psychic. Psychic performed a ritual called séance. This ritual is used to communicate with spirits. During the ritual, they received a message from the spirit of a little girl named Annabelle Higgins, a seven year old girl who died at the same place several years back. Back then there was no apartment and buildings on that area. The doll said that she is lonely and she wants to live with the girls because she loves to be with them. Psychic advised them to keep the doll because there is no harm that can be done from her. Girls being kind to her, and both agreed.

Donna and Angie was enjoying the company of the doll. But this enjoyment didn't last long. One day Lou was staying at there apartment. In the middle of the night Lou noticed some strangling sensation on his legs. He can't move his body, after some struggle he understands that his body was paralysed. Then the doll slowly glides up from his legs and sat on his chest. She grabs Lou's neck and chocked him. Suddenly he woken up by shock and found that this was only a dream. After some days Lou and Angie was planning a road trip, suddenly they heard a loud scream from Donna's room. Lou went to check but found nothing except for the doll. When he was going to leave the room, suddenly he got push from front. He claimed that he feels like there a girl's hands searing on his chest. He checked and found that there was 7 scars. At last, Donna believed Lou and asked a priest to help them. Priest examined the doll and the spirit inside her. He advised them to get help from Edward and Lorraine Warren, a paranormal investigators who were famous for there work.

Lorraine and Ed Warren conducted there investigation which led them to believe that there was not a little girl but a demonic presence was manipulating the doll and this demon was searching for a human host and he chose Lou to be the one. To remove this demon from the doll, Ed with the help of a priest performed exorcism. But eventually they found that this demon was a much stronger than they thought and in order to prevent the demon, it must be kept lock and no contact was made to done by this doll. They tried to remove the doll from the apartment but the doll wouldn't leave without a fight. On there way back home with Annabelle, strange thing happened with the Warren's. Ed claimed that Annabelle caused their steering wheel and breaks malfunction until holy water was sprinkled on her.

Today, Annabelle lives with the Warren's home and Occult museum in Monroe, Connecticut. She sits in a glass case with a sign
"WARNING: POSITIVELY DO NOT OPEN"
Lorraine Warren has said that of all the items in the museum, "that doll is what I'd be most frightened of". Warren's have prohibited visitors to make any such kind of contact with the dolls. But two visitors took their warning for granted. First person was a priest, he touch the glass of the box and told everyone that the doll is not real. On the way back home from his car, he loosed control and got struck by the poll. Priest immediately died. Second one was a motorcycle rider who made fun of the doll. Warrens tried to stop him but he didn't listen, eventually they had to kick him out from the museum. On the way back home, his bike slipped on the road on got accident. The biker died on the spot. So I advice you, if you ever visited the occult's museum, don't underestimate the Warren's warning.
